Faculty Appointments and Advancement

IUPUI Campus Awards

Faculty Appointments and Advancement (FAA) promotes and administers the campus awards for faculty at IUPUI. Each year, we begin to solicit nominations in October. Nominations close in January, followed by committee meetings in February, decisions/notifications in March, and the presentation of awards in April. Below is the full list of campus awards for which faculty are eligible.

Each award is governed by different criteria. All necessary information may be found in the guidelines posted for each award. Please read them carefully. Once you have gathered the required documentation, click on the ‘nominate’ link to begin the electronic on-line nomination process.

Successful candidates are honored at the Chancellor’s Academic Honors Convocation held each year. The next ceremony will take place on Friday, April 16, 2010. At this time we also celebrate faculty who have received significant external awards and honors in 2009.

Please contact us if you have questions about any part of the awards process.
